The DEI 1621 pack frame brings heavy load carrige to small packs. Batteries, electronics and other heavy/dense loads are increasing common and even small packs can reach loads of 40-60#. The DEI X-frame is tested to 60# in vertical drop testing and simulated air drops (20mph at a 45deg angle into concrete) with 60# in the pack.
